I am a writer and professor at St. Mary's College of California and Diablo Valley College.  

I hold a BA and MA in English from Stanford University and an MFA in Creative Writing from St. Mary's College.

I've worked with a wide variety of students, guiding and supporting them throughout the college essay writing process.

As a writing professor and a published writer of fiction and non-fiction, I bring a solid background in craft and creativity to my students and I truly believe that all students have spectacular life stories to tell.
